In one of Africas most pristine wilderness’ lives a unique population of elephants. A small group in Mana Pools national park are some of the only in the world are able to reach new heights.
Now a total of 5 elephants have learnt to stand on their hind legs to reach up to get previously unobtainable vegetation. This incredible ability pushes their body and physics to the limits, balancing up to 6 tonnes of mass on their hind legs. This incredible skill is being passed on through families birthing a brand new elephant culture in front of our eyes.
